There are millions of "preppers" that are working feverishly every day to get prepared for what they fear is a disaster about to happen in America. The motivation for prepping is different for each person. His pursuing self-reliance to optimize return on resources might of just backfired on him and made him a target, as he is about to get overwhelmed with people who had not prepared and are asking or demanding to share in the food that he has put away for his family.Prepper community core values include 1) Being responsible for our own destiny as individuals, and 2) Assisting one another to advance our well being.Prepper wisdom: dictates that you are your own best bet. If you begin your life with that premise, then it will be hard to become a victim. That does not mean that you will not encounter barriers to your achievements or get victimized.
