Bol Wealthy widow Joanne Patrick is enjoying a Grand Canyon vacation with her young son Ronnie when he wanders down a trail - and vanishes. What follows is a nightmare built on technology chillingly advanced for its era: a ransom note written in ink that fades in daylight, a kidnapper who hijacks car radios, hotel phones, and television broadcasts to deliver his demands, and a million-dollar ransom that must reach him exactly according to plan - or Ronnie dies.FBI Inspector Medford takes over the case, but a betrayal from inside Joanne's own circle turns an already desperate situation even more dangerous, with the clock running out.Ransom Money is screenwriter Verland T Whipple's original screenplay, presented here exactly as written - along with the complete story synopsis for readers who want the full picture.
