Desert Resort: Screenplay & Synopsis

She checked in as a guest. She almost never checked out.Margaret "Maggie" Mallory buried a husband who died a cop, and she buried her old life along with him. But when Harry Wilburn, her late husband's partner, shows up asking for one impossible favor, she can't say no.An old man found half-dead in the desert keeps telling the same story: he was a guest at Bright New Horizons, the most exclusive retirement resort money can buy - and he escaped it to save his life. The resort's record is spotless. Its guests want for nothing. And Harry can't shake the feeling that something is very wrong behind those gates. So Margaret checks in under a false name, playing the part of a wealthy widow settling into her golden years. The staff are warm. The service is flawless. And beneath all of it is a secret that will kill her if she finds it - and kill her faster if she doesn't get out in time.Desert Resort is a tense, twist-filled screenplay from the estate of Verland T Whipple, presented here as a screenplay & full plot synopsis.
