Plan B: Screenplay & Synopsis

She's invisible to every boy on campus. So she became three unforgettable ones instead. Frances Geraldine Brinkermeyer has a name too big for her, a reputation for being overlooked, and a marketing class assignment that gives her a very bad idea: if boys respond to the right packaging, she'll simply build it herself. Enter Gloria Sweet, glamorous and effortless. Blanche Le Jour, French and mysterious (mostly in accent). And Jasmine, a veiled princess from a desert kingdom nobody can quite locate on a map. Frances Geraldine plays all three, juggling costume changes, a telephone that never stops ringing, and three separate suitors who are each certain they've found someone singular. Meanwhile, the one boy who likes her exactly as she is keeps getting canceled on. It's a brilliant scheme right up until all three of her inventions are nominated for Homecoming Queen - and someone has to climb up on that stage and answer for it. Plan B is a screwball campus romantic comedy from the unproduced screenplays of Verland T Whipple, presented here in its original screenplay format alongside a full plot synopsis.
