Zombie Marry Kill

What starts as a financially motivated marriage of convenience threatens to become real love in this zombie apocalypse road trip romance. It's two years into the zombie apocalypse, and although society is hanging on by a thread, Sienna Young's finances are not. Between having a father infected with the zombie virus and the numerous pay cuts at her job, Sienna's bank accounts are running on empty. When the medical facility keeping her father alive threatens to kick him out over unpaid patient bills, Sienna's friend, Josh Hill, offers a solution: they can get married, and Sienna will be eligible to receive the family hazard pay the government is offering through his job at the virus research laboratory. Sienna and Josh have...history...and a complicated present, but this would simply be a marriage on paper to get Sienna the money she needs for her father's medical care. Fraudulent if they get caught, but they'll pretend to be in love for real. The only problem with this plan is Sienna and Josh currently live half a country apart. They each set out on road trips through uncontained virus zones to reach the Phoenix courthouse where they can get married, traveling with a wedding party of friends that includes a nine-month-old baby, an elderly neighbor, and a possibly symptomatic zombie patient. On their way to the altar, the couple fends off both human and zombie threats alike, all while trying to determine if they actually want this marriage to be as fake as they planned. But even if there are honest feelings between them, Sienna and Josh might not have hope for a future together if the apocalypse eats them alive.
