On February 21, 2025, Belgian rapper Youssef Swatt's will unveil “Chute libre”, a highly-anticipated EP following his victory on Netflix's Nouvelle École. When the first single “Turbulences” was released last November, the artist challenged himself to literally jump out of a plane. A striking image to unveil a project that looks back on the last few months, experienced as a leap into the void without a safety net. Accompanied by numerous featurings (with his long-time mentor Youssoupha, the virtuoso Sofiane Pamart, his show acolyte James Loup and also Clara Luciani, who accompanied him on the soundtrack of the musical “La Haine”), the EP is undoubtedly the artist's most melodious, revealing his ease on all terrains. With his new colors, Youssef doesn't betray the DNA his fans already know, with lyrics as sharp as they are sensitive, imbued with melancholy, questioning and a still strong attachment to his roots. “Chute libre” tells the story of that floating moment between two worlds: a meteoric rise after years of hard work and effort. Although he has kept a low profile over the last few months, Youssef Swatt's now shares with us his intimate journey through this pivotal period, between success and doubts.
