Wulves Wage War

Wulves Wage War, Part Two of The Eye of the Wulf Series, stirs a storm of magic, mystery, and Celtic myth. In the lush forests of Lisnafaer, protected by the Wulf Jaw Mountains, the noble triad of wulves, deer, and Faer Ones (faeries) safeguard the Covenant of the Green, their sacred trust. Wulf brothers Sonsie and Kalar face their fate-save the green haven of Lisnafaer from ruin, or die trying. Enduring trials to develop unique talents of a singer wulf and warrior wulf, they confront ultimate tests with hard-won courage. Sonsie hones his weapons, wit and song, to confront a demon conjured by cruel warlocks, who covet the Faer Ones' golden apples. Battle-hardened Kalar must fight a monstrous wulf, fatally linked to the demon. If the monster breaks captivity in the Otherworld, havoc follows. Sonsie must find the demon in time, but only the apple caretakers' granddaughter can help-if she escapes the warlocks. Hoping Kalar and Sonsie will be powerful enough to defeat an unholy demon and a raging wulf, Lisnafaer's last giant, a chthonic ram-horned dragon, fabled forest dwellers, mythical beasts-even the stars-unite as allies to lend crucial aid.Although Lisnafaer exists in another time and space, Wulves Wage War celebrates the critical role wolves play in preserving a sustainable wilderness and a balanced ecosystem. Lovers of Celtic mythology's reverence for nature should find delight and food for thought.
