Born in Yale, OK, I graduated from high school in Douglass, KS. After a few semesters at WSU, I was drafted by the Army and served a year in Vietnam. In my forties, I discovered poetry, which led to writing novels and short stories. My stories are, as I put it, written 'from the gut' with the aid of thoughts and life experiences.
