They also uncover the power of the commons and solidarities engendering emancipatory, utopian imaginaries in the global north and south. Vishwas Satgar is Professor of International Relations at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Michelle Williams is Professor of Sociology at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
