For some of us, being strong wasn't a choice. You know what I'm saying, because you're one of us that did what they had to do to survive. It wasn't easy, it hurt, it was hard, but you kept going, kept fighting and found a way to pull through the hard times. You didn't ask for that life, but you always made the best of the cards you were dealt. Now, regardless of the storms that crash into your life, you fight and have learned to dance in the rain. You are a warrior, now and always. And yet, even warriors pause to reflect. Strength is not only in the battles we endure, but in the memories we carry forward. It is those memories, the ones that linger, the ones that restore-that give life its meaning.
