Fluxx is een kaartspel waarbij de kaarten zelf de huidige regels van het spel bepalen. Door kaarten te spelen verander je verschillende aspecten van het spel: hoe je kaarten trekt, hoe je kaarten speelt en zelfs hoe je wint.Aan het begin van het spel heeft elke speler drie kaarten en als een speler aan de beurt is, trekt hij een kaart en speelt vervolgens een kaart.
