Women In Twentieth Century Britain

This is the first thematic book to explore the history of women throughout the entire twentieth century. Appropriate for 1st and 2nd year undergraduates studying 20th Century Britain, Women's History and interdisciplinary courses. Women's lives in Britain have changed dramatically over the course of the twentieth century: reduced fertility and hugely increased participation in education, work and public life are just some examples.
