WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING: Rediscovering Our Absolute Dependence Upon Jesus Christ

In WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING: Rediscovering Our Absolute Dependence Upon Jesus Christ, Dr. Michael H. Yeager calls believers back to one of the most powerful declarations Jesus ever made: "for without me ye can do nothing" (John 15:5 KJV). We need Jesus for our next breath, for wisdom, strength, holiness, prayer, understanding, forgiveness, endurance, ministry, and victory over sin. We need Him to bear fruit, to walk by faith, to live, to die in faith, and to enter eternity. Every area of the Christian life reveals the same undeniable truth-we were never created to live independently of Christ. This book is a passionate invitation to abandon self-reliance and rediscover the grace, power, and presence of Jesus Christ. Human strength will fail, but Christ never fails. When we surrender ourselves to Him and allow Him to work in us by His grace and through the power of the Holy Ghost, His strength becomes our strength, His wisdom directs our steps, and His life produces fruit through us. Without Jesus Christ, we can do nothing; but with Christ living and working in us, we can become everything God created us to be.
