Who Stays Behind?: A Journey Into Memory, Identity, and Consciousness

Who Stays Behind? is a profound journey through the shifting landscapes of identity, memory, and consciousness.Blending science, philosophy, and poetic reflection, Jithu S explores what remains when everything that defines us begins to fade. From minds that forget themselves to machines that learn to dream, this book asks not for answers, but for awareness. Each chapter unravels a new layer of the self, the one shaped by biology and upbringing, rewritten by trauma and time, and reflected in the eyes of others. At its core lies a haunting question: If everything about you changes, what remains the same?More than a book, Who Stays Behind? is an invitation to think deeper, to feel wider, and to meet the silent witness that endures when all else fades. If you've ever looked inward and wondered Who am I, really? This book was written for you.
