Whispers Of Clarity

After many years of chasing after the wind in search of who I am and what my purpose is, and after many years of struggle, God placed wise souls in my life who helped me understand the Holy Spirit within. They became my mentors. Throughout the years I have had many mentors who encouraged me to embrace my true self and to recognize the gift we all carry inside us. Once I learned this, I became calmer, more loving, and more focused on my daily connection with the Creator. What I have learned to do is set aside quiet time, five minutes in the morning and five minutes in the evening as I drift off to sleep, so I can connect with Jesus and God. In these past few years I have devoted this quiet time to deep breathing until I feel completely relaxed. This practice lifts me away from the noise of the world and helps keep my thoughts pure. I need to align my thoughts with the thoughts of God and Jesus, trusting that they will lovingly lead me to my destiny.
