Bol While Dr. Evans F. Duger (« Doug ») are performing an experiment with his « Boomerang » on an old railroad line, he discovers a time portal. He decides to go back in time to help the father of his best friend Handy McGowan. When he finds out that Cybril's father, Wilmor, has accepted a duel (that would mean Wilmor's certain death) with the baron John-Lee Cromwell, Doug journeys back through time to find the manuscript that was destroyed during a Viking invasion in Scotland in the XI century.
