Where There Was Darkness

Having survived thirteen years of captivity, twenty more chasing Gregor, the monster that took him, Marcus is finally free. He wakes to a world he no longer knows, changed in ways he doesn't understand, and fears he cannot control. Planning on leaving the world he doesn't belong to and the people he's come to love, Marcus is stopped by Chief Daniels of the Norwich Police Department. The shade of Gregor is always at his side and Marcus must not only find a way to live in the light where he once hid in the dark, he must also find a way to tame the beast haunting his every moment. Anger from past hurts, fear of what he's become and desires he's not sure he can overcome, keeps him away from those he loves. The question of can he tame the beast inside him as well as free himself from the one walking beside him. Will he be able to enter the world or once again hide in the darkness that he has so long fought against.
