Bol Some hauntings are inherited. Others are invented. When Dan Elder purchases the long-abandoned Ashworth House he believes it will be the ideal opportunity to lure viewers back to his dying reality show, Paranormal Renovators. The legends surrounding the infamous property are perfect - a suicide, three murdered children, and the father suspected of their deaths vanishing into thin air a century ago. Research into the house reveals a dark history too good to be true. Diary entries, blog posts, and a worn book on the occult point toward a ritual that has plagued the property and its inhabitants for generations. But is all as it appears? >Told through interviews, recorded documents, transcripts and text messages, Where the Shadows Gather is an exploration of grief, ambition and the cost of exploiting tragedy in the pursuit of fame.
