When the Mirror Opened

She survived the accident. That's what everyone believes. Fourteen months after a devastating crash at Lake Mercer leaves her in a coma, Clara Whitaker wakes to a miracle; a husband who never gave up, a second chance at life, and a world ready to move forward. But the mirror in her hospital room doesn't agree. Her reflection moves when she doesn't. Water appears where none should be. And someone or something; keeps leaving messages only she can see. When the car from her accident is mysteriously recovered from the lake... still warm... Clara realizes the truth is far worse than memory loss. She wasn't alone the night she crashed. And someone else may have taken her place. As a storm unlike anything recorded begins flooding an entire city, Clara and her husband Daniel are drawn back toward the water where a promise was made in desperation; a promise neither of them remembers. Now the lake is rising. The past is waiting. And love may demand a price neither of them is ready to pay. Because some miracles aren't rescues. They're borrowed time. When the Mirror Opened is a haunting psychological supernatural thriller about grief, devotion, and the terrifying question every heart must answer: How far would you go to bring someone back?
