'What And Why We Believe' is the latest book to be published in the 'Classic Salvationist Texts' series, which aims to help a new generation of readers become familiar with helpful writing published by The Salvation Army over the past 150 years. It contains the texts of two short books by Lieut-Colonel Harry Dean, one of the Army's most able thinkers and communicators - 'The Faith We Declare' and 'Belief In God'. First published in 1955 and 1961 respectively, both books competently explain Salvationist theology without recourse to theologians' language.
