WELCOME TO MY LAND- is the story of a young couple, Klara and Ian, who have chosen to make their home in Eugene, Oregon. They arrive in Eugene in 1982, at a time of deep economic recession. Klara is pregnant, Ian is a freelancing musician, and survival seems almost impossible. Until Klara encounters a nightly bike rider singing a mysterious song that invokes in her visions of the American Natives, the original inhabitants of this land...REMEMBER SOPHIA- tells the story of an unusual guest in the home of Klara and Ian, their small son Addy, and their baby Emma. Originally offered as short term accommodation to Sophia, a young woman from New York looking for work and living space in Eugene, the visitor extends her stay under various excuses, causing disruptions to the household, and eventually a major drama by her insistence of being followed by a murderous couple...
