We’re Going on Safari

Bracken and Kynlee love imaginative play. On this visit, the children want to be zoo animals: Bracken hops like a kangaroo, Kynlee pirouettes on toe like a flamingo, and Gram gives a loud trumpet as she wiggles her trunk. Then Gram has an idea, "Why don't we go on a safari?"They put on safari hats and binoculars and hop into Gram's jeep to travel to a wonderful safari park with lions, giraffes, and elephants. While traveling in the park, they talk about the animals they meet and how the babies are loved and cared for by their parents-much like the love they experience in their own family."We're Going on Safari" is an imaginative and engaging story that shows how animal and human parents do much the same things to help their babies grow up to be healthy adults. The book includes fun facts and questions that invite young listeners to share their own thoughts, building early language skills and creating cozy moments for parents and children to connect over the story.
