Chaos Space Marines Warbands are composed of a wide variety of different units, depending on the temperament of the leader, what they may have at their disposal, and the mission parameters. A unit of versatile, power-armoured Legionaries forms a solid core to take and hold vital objectives, while Chaos Cultists act as a buffer against retaliation and as a useful distraction. The Lord Discordant's Helstalker can be equipped with a baleflamer or autocannon, as well as a choice of magma cutter or techno-virus injector.The Legionaries kit comes with a variety of ranged and close combat weapons, as well as parts to build an Aspiring Champion who can be armed with a plasma pistol, boltgun, or bolt pistol, and a power fist, power axe or power maul.
