Wandering spleen torsion is a rare condition with an incidence of less than 0.5% according to a large series of splenectomies. Clinical diagnosis can sometimes be difficult. Imaging, particularly ultrasound and especially abdominal-pelvic computed tomography, allows for diagnosis. Treatment is surgical, involving detorsion and splenopexy in the absence of splenic necrosis, or splenectomy otherwise. This study reports the diagnosis and management of 3 cases of wandering spleen torsion.
