Life has left me with many moments of pain and heartache. When I was going through those experiences, I could not see the irony or the quiet humour hidden within them. I only saw fear, confusion, and suffering. Today, when I look back, those very moments have been opening my eyes. Many things that my teachers, society, and religion taught me now appear in a different light When true realization dawns, the lessons we learned incorrectly seem to smile back at us, reminding us how easily we can mistake belief for truth. True learning begins when we have the courage to unlearn and make room for our own understanding. There were many things I never had the courage to speak aloud. Today, they blossom here as Unshackled Signatures.
