Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is the most common primary immunodeficiency in adults. It is characterized by a defect in immunoglobulin production, resulting in hypogammaglobulinemia. Clinical presentation is highly variable, usually manifesting as recurrent bacterial infections, particularly of the respiratory tract. Autoimmune and lymphoproliferative manifestations may also be associated. The aim of this study is to analyze the demographic, clinical, paraclinical and evolutionary particularities of patients with CVID, and to compare our data with those in the literature.
