Valley Boy tells the story of Ricky Edwards, a 17 year-old CIO (California Improved Okie) trapped in a soul-eating church and buried in small town Centerville, California for life. To free himself from that heavy-duty church, Ricky rebels against God's word, plots out his future and gets a job debeaking turkeys. He debeaks turkeys because he needs a car.
