Unsolved Isles The Lighthouse Pact

A pact broken. A light rekindled. And a secret buried deep beneath the cliffs of Cornwall. When Evelyn Caine returns to her late father's coastal cottage, she expects grief. What she doesn't expect is the lighthouse-long abandoned-flickering back to life the night she arrives. And when a retired officer turns up dead, the past begins to bleed into the present. Her father, once a respected detective, had uncovered something in the 1980s-something he and three others vowed to conceal forever. But the truth won't stay buried. Not when the lighthouse beams begin to turn again. Not when the pact they made starts to unravel. As Evelyn unravels the mystery behind the Keeper, the third light, and a vanished boy no one talks about, she must choose between silence and sacrifice... before the next beam shines on her.Perfect for fans of moody coastal thrillers, folklore-tinged mysteries, and slow-burning suspense, The Lighthouse Pact is the first novella in the Unsolved Isles collection.
