Earth is a true cosmic miracle, for in its evolutionary development it has arrived at a way of mobilizing the cosmic order that fundamentally distinguishes it from all other cosmic formations known to us , including Earth-like planets. This method of mobilization is life, which, having undergone numerous stages and varieties in its evolution -from the most primitive forms to the highest- has transformed Earth's biosphere into the most important factor in its geological evolution. Located on the periphery of our Universe, the Metagalaxy and all its structural components-including the Galaxy-the Earth, thanks to the miracle of life and the miracle of its highest form-human civilization- is gradually taking over from inanimate nature the role of the mobilizing source of the cosmos. As human civilization expands into space, it is from Earth that the spread of intelligent order and humane organization throughoutthe cosmos begins . As the third planet from an otherwise unremarkable yellow star, Earth becomes the first cosmic wonder across a vast expanse due to its unique position within its star system.
