Like it's predecessor, it is a book that contains the real and raw emotions of a young woman, but now finds her at the beginning of her twenties. The poems and other writings in this book are very personal to its author as majority of it was written after she ended things with her long term partner after almost four years of being together, allowing readers to see inside of her mind and heart and experience the "after" as she did. This book, like its sister "you can't save her," explores love, heartbreak, grief, loss, and the complexities of trauma and its effects on the author.
