UN I FOLD / ING distills more than forty years of poetry and photography into a single, unified exploration of impact, response, and growth. The journey began with A Promise for Ghosts, a collection confronting death, loss, and suffering-its manuscript lost in when the truck carrying it was stolen. The companion photographs survived, and after two years spent reconstructing the poems from memory, the work was withdrawn from publication due to its personal nature.Years later came Awaken, an inquiry into transformation, created alongside the abstract photographic series NINE x FIRE, but it too remained unpublished. Only in 2025, compelled by the symbolism of the number nine embedded throughout the project, was NINE x FIRE released. Its timing aligned with the completion of Still, a meditation on radical acceptance paired with photographs of organic matter reflecting quiet renewal.Recognizing these three bodies of work as one continuum, consented was given to publish UN I FOLD / ING. Its one hundred poems-along with the writing in Trite & Pithy Musings- explore pain, transformation, and rebirth through shifting forms, abstraction, and occasional dry wit.
