Unfinished Business

In the electrifying aftermath of UOhio's 2020 National College Football Championship victory, defensive coordinator Dan Miller basks in glory alongside his pregnant wife, Blair, and head coach Cale Newton. With a new corporate bowl alliance crowning the four-team tournament, Dan's star is rising-until a head coaching offer from Tennessee sweeps him south, where Blair gives birth to their daughter, Cassidy. Life seems perfect, but two years later, Dan's world crumbles. Caught in a scandalous affair and humiliated at an ill-advised press conference, he's fired from Tennessee, divorced by Blair, and separated from Cassidy, who returns to Ohio with her mother. When hope seems lost, Dan lands a head coaching gig at Northwest Ohio State, a struggling program in Westville, Ohio. The catch? Rock star alum Gary Ross demands a documentary to chronicle the team's rebuild, thrusting Dan into the spotlight to salvage his tarnished reputation. With cameras rolling, Dan faces a skeptical press, a divided team, and a losing culture. Can Dan reclaim his career, rebuild a football program stuck in mediocracy, and regain the trust of his ex-wife? Unfinished Business is a gripping tale of second chances, resilience and redemption, and the unrelenting pursuit of glory, where a disgraced coach, a trailblazing offensive coordinator with the uncanny knack for play-calling, and a scrappy underdog team defy the odds to rewrite their legacy-on and off the field.
