Under The Poppy Moon

Under the Poppy Moon Karabelle Ghost has spent many quiet years as the herbalist on Ghost mountain, tending her gardens, foraging the forest, making herbal medicine, and trying not to think too hard about the sister she lost who lies in the family graveyard just beyond the pasture, or the lasting love she never found. One day a raven lands on her porch, and her world starts to change. What follows is an unraveling of everything Kara thought she knew-a journal that shouldn't exist, a 24 year old death that was more than it seemed, and the return of the one man she never stopped thinking about. As old wounds reopen and new ones cut deep, Kara has to decide how much of the past she's willing to dig up, and what it will cost the people she loves when she does. Set in the Sierra foothills of Northern California's gold country, Under the Poppy Moon is a story about the ghosts we carry with us, the secrets small towns keep, and the kind of love that waits patiently for you to come home.
