Because their professions and interests included travel across the continents, Allen and Williams often found themselves in unexpected or unknowable situations that not only defined their visit but, over time, their lives. Rarely did they pass up a chance to find out more, visit more, experience more or take one more side trip to see what they could not have imagined. This collection of tales includes everything from heartfelt to surprising, even terrifying. The often self-deprecating tone reflects the fact that many of the situations would not have come about had they known better - or thought them through before engaging.
