Too Expensive: An Eddie Carter Novel

Jo Valdez is on the run after witnessing a local crime boss commit murder in the back alley where she had been sleeping rough. Desperate to stay out of his reach, she happens upon Eddie Carter and his boat, Liberty Dies, about to set sail for Bermuda. Eddie, an ex US Ranger, realizes that without him the girl will die. So he takes her aboard and the chase is on! Their journey takes them all the way from Corpus Christi to Homestead FL. And Jo encounters more of Eddie's former squad mates, a West Florida nudist community, an ex Iranian arms dealer, and plenty of deadly encounters as the couple are tracked across the Gulf and into the Atlantic. And Eddie's plan to keep Jo safe is to simply make it Too Expensive for the bad guys to keep hunting them. And along the way, Jo learns how to trust someone for the very first time, as their relationship grows into something more intimate. Romance, Guns, and plenty of Nudity and Action keep this story going from beginning to end.
