Tide of Talons

Another world sleeps.Something is rising.Everything will change.Life is about to rupture and fragment. Daughters, sons, fathers, mothers, teachers, warriors, leaders and friends - all will be uprooted. When fabled childhood nightmares start to walk the marshes, when shadows slither from the waters, when homes are shattered . . . to whom would you turn? The ageing schoolmistress who keeps a broadsword in the stationery cupboard. The nomad, exiled from her family for the unnatural new abilities she is displaying. The valorous Lord, if only he could conquer his own personal addictions. The combined genius of a schoolyard of underestimated children, or the ingenuity of a cunning but duplicitous scoundrel and his band of smugglers.Who will emerge to drive back the ravenous tide of talons?Remember. Monsters don't exist. Magic isn't real. Life is slow and simple. And if you believe any of this, you will be dead before daybreak.
