This eclectic, exquisite collection of poetry arises from an online poetry reading series, Thriving Thursdays, born during the pandemic.Coronavirus had frightened us all back into our homes, in isolation. Meeting in person was unthinkable. Poets Abbey Porter and Steve Delia forged a way around it; they found a way to bridge the gap, to promote the human connection, and to encourage the expression of the written and spoken word.Their solution was a series of monthly readings, Thriving Thursdays, a sharing of poetry on Zoom.
