They Never Stopped Riding

A single shot kills a cyclist on a quiet country road. Sixteen days later, it happens again. Sheriff Elaine Mercer has no suspect, no witness, and almost no evidence-only a typed message left behind by someone who seems to know exactly how fear spreads: THEY NEVER STOPPED RIDING. As Ridge County empties its roads, cyclist Chris Nolan refuses to surrender the thing he loves. Reporter Mara Bell digs into a tragedy the county would rather forget. And somewhere beyond the tree line, a patient killer is watching the community try to return to normal. What begins as a local murder becomes a widening manhunt that exposes an eight-year-old loss, a preventable failure, and a question no one wants to answer: how far can grief go before it becomes something else entirely? They Never Stopped Riding is a propulsive psychological thriller about obsession, guilt, fear, and the ordinary places that stop feeling ordinary once someone decides to make them dangerous.
