"Maw Maw there's a possum in the mailbox. Maw Maw's got nephew, Valentin Michel with her in her old green truck. She has places to go and things to do including getting her haircut for a wedding that day. The first thing to do is post the mail in her red mailbox. But, when Valentin Michel opens the mailbox, he finds a pesky possum inside. Might as well turn the truck around says Valentin Michel. But, Maw Maw's not gonna' let a possum ruin her day. She's got something in her pink purse that might just do the trick. This book is the third in a series of misadventures with Maw Maw and Valentin Michel. The characters and dialogue are based upon my Cajun relatives of south Louisiana. Note: contains a few French words.
