the Wolf & Rabbit

A woman on the run from her past. A conservation officer tracking her down for answers. A high-stakes chase through the unforgiving wilderness of Northern Ontario. Jessie Becken has always wanted out. Out of the suffocating routines, the relentless noise, and the man-made destruction. She had a simple plan: save enough money to leave society behind for the solitude of Northern Ontario. But when a devastating realization proves she's headed down the same grim path as her mother, she stops planning and starts running. Desperate to claim a life on her own terms before it's too late, she turns to the wilderness, leaving everything behind-including the rugged, unavailable conservation officer she's gotten too close to. Ryan Fraser has always lived by a code: protect the land, follow the rules, and provide for his family. But the life he's carefully built is falling apart, leaving him a stranger in his own home. The only one who truly sees the man behind the badge is his informant-a complication he doesn't need, no matter how intriguing she is. He keeps his distance, determined to hold the pieces of his life together-until she disappears. Now they must decide how much they're willing to risk for answers that could destroy them.
