The Vanishing Point

The Vanishing PointThe Arithmetic of AbsenceLiora Landry counts everything.Pedestrians at intersections. Timing intervals. Small patterns most people never notice. Then the numbers stop matching.A single discrepancy-off by one-becomes an obsession when she discovers others documenting the same impossible events: moments where sound compresses, movement lags, and people vanish without explanation. No one remembers what is missing. No one except her.As the anomalies multiply, Liora is drawn into a hidden network of observers tracking a pattern buried beneath reality itself. What begins as a missing count becomes evidence of something far larger-something silently correcting the world around them.Every correction leaves fewer witnesses behind. And somewhere beyond the edge of memory, something is waiting. The Vanishing Point: The Arithmetic of Absence is a suspenseful blend of speculative fiction, mystery, and cosmic unease that explores perception, memory, and the terrifying possibility that reality is far less stable than it appears.
