Growing up I was one of those people who were considered high potential. Yet somehow this person who was seemingly guaranteed to succeed found themselves looking in the mirror with no clue who the person looking back at them was. All those big hopes, dreams and expectations were shattered to what seemed like no prospects of a future. I watched as everyone appeared to be thriving all around me and there I sat in a deafeningly dark pit.
