the Trick and Trade

The clover is disappearing... and time is running out. When the sheep of Rosehill Farm discover that their beloved clover has stopped growing, Barbara, Bartholomew, and the wise old Cara set off on an extraordinary journey to save their flock. Hidden beneath an ancient stone wall lies a secret tunnel leading to a magical fairy fort, where music fills the air, fairies dance through the night, and a grumpy leprechaun named Cillian guards his treasured pot of gold. With the help of new friends-and more than a little Irish magic-the sheep hatch an outrageous plan to outwit a fierce bull and reach a field overflowing with fresh clover. But it will take courage, clever thinking, teamwork... and perhaps even some leprechaun mischief! Filled with memorable characters, gentle humor, and the timeless charm of Irish folklore, Barbara, Bartholomew, Cara, Fiona, and Cillian invite young readers on an unforgettable adventure where kindness, friendship, and a touch of magic can overcome even the biggest obstacles. Perfect for children ages 5-9 and for families who love stories that celebrate imagination, courage, and the wonder of old Ireland.
