It is supposed to give essential information concerning the subject. It involves investigations on how the Atlantic Triangle worked (goods, pants, figures), the history of the Slave Trade with particular focus on the 'Middle Passage' (circumstances, figures) as well as negative and 'positive' long term effects of the slave trade on the Americas and on Africa. It concludes with a n overview of important dates related to the Transatlantic Slave Trade. [...] Alexander Täuschel wurde 1972 in Darmstadt geboren und wuchs dort in einem der multikulturellen Studentenviertel auf. Er studierte Amerikanistik und Psychoanalyse an der Goethe Universität Frankfurt, von wo aus er auch erste Schriften veröffentlichte. Sein erstes Buch "Lebende Maschinen. Cyborgs, Roboter und deren Menschlichkeit in I,Robot" erschien 2008 im wissenschaftlichen VDM Verlag und erhielt außerdem eine Nominierung als "Beste Abschlussarbeit" der Frankfurter Universität.
