Graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of Leningrad University.Until 1993, he lived and worked in Leningrad and Riga.After moving to Israel, he lived in Tel Aviv and was a professor of mathematics at Bar-Ilan University.From early childhood, he collected minerals, assembling a unique collection. He was a recognized expert in picture jaspers and landscape stones.His stories and travel essays were published in Philadelphia, Boston, and Sydney.
