Bol Set in the 1980s--the heyday of actual romance novels--The Stiffening Kinship is a wild parody of the romance novels your mother read and then some. This novel is a spoof of bad romance novels, and follows the bawdy, unlikely adventures of Constance Riley, a widowed young travel agent from Passaic, New Jersey.Since it is a spoof of a romance novel, The Stiffening Kinship contains some euphemistically-worded love scenes which may be too silly for some viewers and is meant for adult readers. It is intended for immature audiences only. The Stiffening Kinship... So bad, it's good!
