The Social Democratic Dilemma

This book examines the development of social democratic parties in Western Europe and suggests that instead of viewing a single model, in the past it was more accurate to consider a Northern and Southern European version. But now a 'new' version of social democracy is emerging that is characterised by an advocacy of the tenets of neo-liberalism.
