The Shape of Almost: A Roni Finch Novel: 3

Roni Finch knows unfinished things have a shape. A beta feature that should feel flexible instead feels terrifying. Claire's relationship is becoming serious in a quiet, suspiciously steady way. Outcast Outlaws is full of people living in the space between almost ready and not quite healed. And Lucas Hawke keeps asking questions that sound casual but are absolutely not casual. As Roni tries to understand why users are abandoning a feature that technically works, she realizes the real problem is not commitment. It is uncertainty without instructions. At work, in friendship, and in love, Roni begins to learn that almost does not always mean failure. Sometimes almost is the shape of something becoming real. The Shape of Almost is a warm, neurodivergent-friendly contemporary novel about slow-burn love, found family, quiet courage, and learning to trust what is still becoming.
