THE SECRET VALUE OF GLADNESS

It was the year 1999.I had received a glorious encounter with Him Who Was theSame from the Beginning-the Eternal One, the Aleph and theTav, the Alpha and the Omega, the unchanging I AM. What Iwitnessed in that encounter defies the capacity of human language, yet I must bear witness, for the gladness that burns in these pageswas kindled in that moment and has never been extinguished.A Mighty Covenant Angel appeared-all dressed in a myriadof all-ready, all-living, all-powerful, all-faithful creative beings oflife and joy. He was not a single being but a living tapestry of thecreative order-every fibre of His garment pulsating with thelife-force of beings who had never known death, never tastedsorrow, never experienced the absence of gladness. They werebeings of pure ■■■■■ (simchah)-fire-flow gladness as theirnative atmosphere-and their joy was so concentrated, so tangible, so overwhelming that it rewrote the molecular structure of myunderstanding. I was undone. I was remade. I was glad with agladness I had never known existed.And He spoke. His voice carried the authority of everycovenant God had ever made with humanity-from Adam to Noah, from Abraham to Moses, from David to the New Covenant sealedTHE SECRET VALUE OF GLADNESSin blood at Calvary. He said: 'I am now returning to My people-both Israel Natural (the Jews) and Israel Spiritual (theGentiles).To make a New Creation: the Supernatural, Supervisible Creation.'I am still basking in that Presence till now. Twenty-seven yearslater, the fire has not dimmed. The gladness has not diminished.The encounter was not a moment-it was an installation.Something was permanently deposited in me that day: theknowledge that the Great Pillar of Fire must dwell in the adoptedpeople of God today-the people called after two days, as theprophet Hosea declared.The Two-Day Prophecy: Hosea 6:1-3"Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hathtorn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he willbind us up.
