It's 10:45 p.m. when Ananya leaves the office. The rain doesn't care that the last bus is gone, or that her phone is down to six per cent. When a black SUV slows beside her and the ID card on the dashboard matches her own office tower, she gets in.By midnight, the road has surrendered to fog.
